Information collected and why

When you use the enquiry form, Drain Star Ltd receives the name, contact detail, location or postcode, site type and drainage information you provide. This information is used to respond to your enquiry and to take steps you request before a contract. Legitimate interests may also apply where necessary to manage and protect the business and website.

Service providers and transfers

Netlify hosts the website and processes form submissions. Google’s email service receives the enquiry at drainstarltd@gmail.com. These providers may process data outside the UK under their applicable safeguards. Drain Star Ltd does not sell enquiry information. No optional analytics or advertising tracking is active.

How long enquiries are kept

Enquiry information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage any resulting work, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations. Enquiries may be deleted earlier on request where no legal or operational reason requires their retention.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, restriction, objection, portability or deletion where those rights apply. Contact drainstarltd@gmail.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Do not wait for a complete failure

Warning signs deserve an answer.

Slow flow, gurgling, smells or repeat blockages can point to a developing drainage problem. Ask about a CCTV inspection before the situation becomes more disruptive.
